Natividad Ramos (aka Nati or Mama) (August 1, 1931 – October 23, 2016) was the second generation of the family to run La Borinqueña Mex-icatessen, and the mother of Tina Tamale.
Nati began working in the deli when she was 12 years old; she had to stand on a box to reach the register and scales. After Tina took over, Nati still came to the store to dispense advice and catch up with any visitors.
Her oldest sister was married to Guadalupe Carlos.
She died in 2016 after a battle with heart disease, and is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery.
