The Oakland History Murals are a series of murals around the empty lot between 11th Street and Jefferson and 12th Street and MLK.
The history behind them was researched by students and they were painted by students of the California College of the Arts in 2013. The murals feature different people and things from Oakland history, including Robert Maynard, Sweet's Ballroom and mayor Frank Mott.
