The Oakland Real Estate Associates was incorporated on December 17, 1867, with offices located on Broadway, Oakland, and 507 California Street, San Francisco.  Starting with capital stock of $100,000, the corporation goals were the purchase and sale of improved and unimproved real estate.  The following were officers of the Oakland Real Estate Associates:  Henry C . Lee, President ; John I . Spear, Jr., Vice-President; William K . Flint, Secretary ; Edward C . Sessions, General Business Agent.  The Board of Directors consisted of Henry C. Lee, John I. Spear, Jr., G. W. Armes, W. K. Flint, W. H. Glascock, Edward C. Sessions, and C. W. Kellogg.
