The Oakland Spirit Orchestra (OSO) is a youth ensemble featuring kids from various Oakland schools, including Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary, Lafayette Elementary, West Oakland Middle School, Westlake Middle School, Montera Middle School, Coliseum College Prep, McClymonds High School, and Oakland School for the Arts.
The founding director is Alison Bailey Streich.
