The Paul Robeson Administration Building is the former administration building of the Oakland Unified School District. It flooded in 2013 after a custodian left a faucet on 1, and the OUSD moved its offices. It was named in honor of singer, actor and civil rights advocate, Paul Robeson.
The building (and the adjacent Ethel Moore Memorial Building) is currently slated to be demolished to build a new Dr. Marcus Foster Educational Leadership Campus 2. However, architects say the building could be renovated for half the cost of building new. 1
