Raphael Saadiq (born Charles Ray Wiggins; May 14, 1966) is a producer, song-writer, singer, musician, member of Tony! Toni! Tone!, brother of D'Wayne Wiggins, and collaborator with an incredible list of award winning musicians. His professional career jump-started as a bass player on tour with Prince and Sheila E. in 1984. His successful solo albums [four so far] have a 1960s-1970s sound and feel. He was born in Oakland.
