Robert Martin Culp (August 16, 1930 – March 24, 2010) was an actor, scriptwriter and director born in Oakland. He is probably best known for his TV work opposite Bill Cosby on the series I Spy that ran in the 1960s, and on Greatest American Hero in the 1980s.

Robert was born August 16, 1930, in Oakland, to Crozier Cordell Culp, an lawyer, and his wife, Bethel Martin (Collins) Culp. He graduated from Berkeley High School.
