Robert Boyer was a cigar dealer. He was a member of the Merchants' Exchange.3 He was also a member of the Elks.
He was married to Mary Alice Dietz, daughter of Alfred C. Dietz of opera house fame. They lived at 5403 San Pablo following the death of Alice's mother, Sarah.
