Sam Richardson (1934) is an Oakland born sculptor who received his BA (1956) and MFA (1960) from the California College of Arts and Crafts. In 1975, Richardson received an Individual Artist Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and in 1999 Richardson was awarded an Emeritus Professorship at San Jose State University. 1
