The Sevening Building was an office and retail building on the southeast corner of Washington and 11th Streets. It was owned by Henry Sevening (1833 - 1900), who was president of the Alameda Bank.
The online entry from the OHC describes it as the Miller-Collsichonn-Westdahl building. 1 Sevening's obituary says his daughters were Mrs. Frank Miller (Johanna Sevening), Mrs. Franz Collischonn (Lula Sevening), and Miss Alma Sevening. 2 Alma married Lawrence Westdahl in 1907.
