On November 17, 1981 the Seymour C. Davisson House was designated Oakland Landmark #55, under Zoning Case #LM 81-232A.
It is located at 1527 Union Street near de Fremery Park. Info from the Landmarks Board says it was built in 1884 by Samuel and Joseph C. Newsom. 1 County records indicate it was renovated in 1925.
