Sidney ("Sid") Adelbert Snow (December 3, 1898 – August 26, 1959) was a big game hunter, a college football player, catcher for the Oaks baseball team, the son of Henry A. Snow, and one of the founders of the current Oakland Zoo.
Snow founded the Alameda County Zoological Society.
He was married to Virginia G. Ormsby (January 24, 1899 – October 16, 1968), daughter of Dr. Elon A. Ormsby. 1
