The Sustainable Economies Law Center (SELC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit legal center focused on local economy. The SELC promotes innovative concepts such as a sharing economy, cooperatives, barter and local currency, community enterprises, local investing, cohousing  and urban agriculture. 

The SELC was involved in getting the Assembly Bill (AB) 1616 passed (AKA Homemade Food Act).
