Tacos El Grullo is an excellent taco truck that is based in the parking lot behind the Fruitvale Gateway Building, on 27th Avenue just east of International Boulevard. It is a spinoff from El Grullo Taqueria, located a few blocks away at 27th Avenue and Foothill Boulevard.
El Grullo is my current favorite taco truck in Oakland. And that was before I learned that it has been visited by Anthony Bourdain for an interview published in the Oakland Tribune on December 5, 2007.
