On Thursday, May 23, the Department of Human Services (DHS) is holding a Senior Town Hall Discussion from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The event will be held at the Downtown Oakland Senior Center, 200 Grand Avenue.

In honor of Older Americans Month, please join the Commission on Aging to discuss the issues and opportunities confronting seniors in 2013 and beyond. The keynote speaker will be Mayor Jean Quan. Refreshments, abundant giveaways and community resource tables will be provided at this free event. A free shuttle will be provided to Senior Centers and Senior Housing.
