Viola Frey (August 15, 1933 – July 26, 2004) was an artist and professor at the California College of the Arts (CCA), known especially for her larger than life ceramic sculptures of people.
Frey received her bachelor's degree from CCA in 1956. She taught at CCA from 1965 to 1999, when she was made a professor emerita. 1
