The Women's Art and Industrial Club was a community service organization run by black women, active from 1905 to at least 1979. 7

The club was founded in 1905, 1 organized by Mary Wilkinson. 2Fannie Wall was a director in 1909, when the club acquired a building at 850 - 30th St. 4Frances Albrier was a long-time member, and was the business manager in 1965. 6 At some point they moved to 857 West MacArthur.
