Women's Art and Industrial Club

The Women's Art and Industrial Club was a community service organization run by black women, active from 1905 to at least 1979. ⁷

The club was founded in 1905, ¹ organized by Mary Wilkinson. ²Fannie Wall was a director in 1909, when the club acquired a building at 850 - 30th St. ⁴Frances Albrier was a long-time member, and was the business manager in 1965. ⁶ At some point they moved to 857 West MacArthur.
