Xyclo seems like an Uptown restaurant that got lost and plopped down on Piedmont ave. Decor and lighting has a lounge vibe and the prices seem pretty high for dinner (lunches are more reasonable).
The food is asian-fusion. Some dishes seem hit or miss but the good ones are very good!
Won 2014 "Readers' Choice" Best Vietnamese/Cambodian Restaurant in Oakland Magazine.
