Yuen Hop Co. is a small grocery store in Chinatown well stocked with various types of fresh noodles (including wonton/dumpling wrappers, egg noodles and ho fun/rice noodles), fresh tofu, tofu skins (yuba), seaweed and mochi (sweet rice flour balls filled with sweet peanut butter/sesame paste). They are also known for their steamed buns (bao).
Yuen Hop Co was the recipient of the East Bay Express Best Specialty Market for Noodle-Loving Home Cooks Award in 2014.
