A number of very large, very bright LED billboards are proposed for the Oakland Army Base. They've been a topic of contention at City Council for several years.`
The Sierra Club, the Oakland Heritage Alliance, Bike East Bay, the group West Oakland Neighbors, and the group ScenicEastBay have all come out against them. Phil Tagami is for them.
