The Cathedral of Christ the Light (also known as the Oakland Cathedral) is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oakland.

After some controversy about the location, 1 the cathedral was built as a replacement for the Cathedral of Saint Francis de Sales which was damaged in the Loma Prieta earthquake. Construction was completed in 2008, and dedicated September 25, 2008.

The cathedral includes a mausoleum underneath.
