Fitchburg is a neighborhood in Oakland. It is the site of the historical town of Fitchburg, which was annexed by Oakland in 1909. The name is used primarily in real estate listings, with the northern dividing line at Hegenberger Road/73rd Avenue. The historical Fitchburg northern boundary was present-day 69th Avenue.
