1923 ad

Hyman's Women's Shop (“Exclusive, but never expensive”) was a women's clothing store run by Hazel C. Hyman and Lilyan Lesser. From 1922 to 1926 they were at 1538 Broadway. 1,2 In 1926, they moved to the Tapscott Building at 19th and Broadway. 3

Hyman and Lesser had run a women's apparel shop in Berkeley, and for a time had both shops open. By 1930, it appears they had closed the Berkeley shop, and had opened one in San Francisco; 4 a 1931 ad lists only the San Francisco location. 5
