Louis Rogers Wicker (1852 – January 4, 1916) was a concrete contractor c.1897-c.1913 at 1457 - 12th Avenue. NB: Louis is spelled Lewis in some records.

A number of Wicker sidewalk stamps still exist, plus a stamp in the stairs at 552 Montclair Avenue.

Wicker married Elizabeth ("Lizzie") E. Rowe (Wicker) (August, 1858 – October 21, 1925) on April 2, 1878, and they had 5 children: Frank Collins Wicker (September, 1879 – June 12, 1931), Hattie May Wicker (Wallace) (November 6, 1880 – January 19, 1954), Maud Etta Wicker (Sheldon) (September 16, 1882 – November 25, 1946), Kate Elizabeth Wicker (August, 1891 – April 4, 1924), and Murle Rowe Wicker (January 11, 1899 – October 7, 1943). Murle served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Murle, Maud, and Maud's husband William Erwin Sheldon (March 22, 1877 – June 13, 1944) are buried in Mountain View Cemetery. NB: the grave marker spells it Sheldan. 1
