Oakland Fire Department Engine 6 is located at 7080 Colton Blvd., Oakland, CA. It has been used as a local polling place, where former mayor and current California governor Jerry Brown and his wife voted when they lived nearby, accompanied by Sutter.

There is a plaque in front remembering Firefighter Tracy Toomey, who died in 1999 in the line of duty. He was filling in at a downtown station, and while fighting a six-alarm fire, the floor collapsed killing him and injuring three other firefighters.
