The Double Standard is a relatively new (c.2015) bar at 2424 Telegraph, replacing the venerable dive bar, Kim's Backyard.
They're still working on fixing up the front of the building, but the interior is looking nice. They serve a decent selection of beers, plus hipster necessities, Tecate and PBR.
The Double Standard was the recipient of the 2015 Best Hidden Backyard Bar Patio award from the East Bay Express.
