The Trestle Glen Stairs connect Park Blvd. with the Trestle Glen neighborhood.

The stairs were featured in the Chronicle in 2007 after they were finally rebuilt at a cost of $350,000. The stairs were originally built after the 1906 earthquake to connect the Key System streetcars to the surrounding "suburbs" of Trestle Glen.

The stairs are supposed to last 50 years. The 10 foot swath of land around the stairs is owned by the city. When the stairs were redone, pressure-treated redwood was cantilevered above ground. It rests on concrete posts in order to prevent rotting.
