"You Buy We Fry" - Despite what their tagline suggests, it does not mean you buy fish elsewhere, and bring it here to have Vida or her daughter Tina fry it for you. They mean, You Buy whatever fish they have available on the menu at the time you order, that's the You Buy part, then they go and do their We Fry part of the bargain, and serve you when cooked.

Do yourself a favour, and phone ahead (510) 532-1688 and order, lest you end up waiting and waiting and waiting....

Vida's can be reached using AC Transit Lines 11, 14, 40.

There is reasonable Street Parking out front and around the side.

They will celebrate their 32nd year in business, this upcoming July 17 2013.

They take Credit Cards and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
