Intercity Transit is a bus system that runs through Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, and Yelm. They practice sustainability in many different ways such as reusing cleaning water, incorporating a biking system, and using hybrid biodiesel-electric buses. 

Their mission statement is to "Provide and promote transportation choices that support an accessible, sustainable, livable, healthy, and prosperous community."

Intercity Transit has earned sustainability achievement award from 2001-2012.
