Windfall Lumber

Windfall Lumber is a lumber company that uses fallen trees and downed houses for their wood. The company was founded in 1996 by Ian Hanna. The idea for this company was introduced because of a windstorm that took out a massive amount of trees in the Olympia area. Julie Frank defines sustainability on behalf of the company as, "using the most out of what you have been given." They emulate this definition through using all of the wood that they find, down to the last wood chip possible.
