Orting has the unique position of still being a very small city, which makes urban planning understandable and fun for everyone!  An entire university class could be devoted to our town alone, and it's distinctions.   For example, a town of this size rarely has such solid social services -- but we have a Food Bank, doctors office, and Clothing Bank right downtown.

The core of a city's government reside in it's departments and councils.   As such, Orting has the following:   

• Public Works (fixes everything we see)
• Parks & Recreation (provides all the fun in center park)
• City Hall (all those important people)
