A shallow harbor near Palmer Station between Bonaparte and Norsel Points. Although first charted by the French under Charcot in the early 20th century, the British Antarctic Survey named the harbor in 1956 for the British governor of the Falkland Islands, Oswald Arthur when it established Station N.
The harbor has expanded dramatically over the last few decades with the retreat of the Marr Ice Piedmont, and we now see that "Norsel Point" belongs to Amsler Island rather than to Anvers Island as originally thought.
