City Repair does things like intersection murals ("intersection repair") and the annual Village Building Convergence.
They painted a mural without permission, then got the city to support them: “The commissioner of transportation has had a complete awakening,” Lakeman exults. “He now says that in Portland, the public right-of-ways belong to the people!”
