There are several seed bomb vending machines in Portland, including at least one on Mississippi Street.  The vending machine charges you $0.50 and you get a rotund clay ball packed with native seeds.  An Internet search reveals that the likely company vending these balls of beauty is probably Greenaid from California, who works with a non-profit where "formerly homeless or economically disadvantaged men and women from the Los Angeles area" earn a living wage hand-rolling these balls.
