Kings Valley is an unincorporated community in Benton County located 11 miles west of Philomath along the Luckiamute River and Oregon Route 223. Kings Valley was named after its first settlers, Nahum and Serepta King, who arrived in 1845. A flour mill was built in the community in 1853. Kings Valley post office ran from 1855 to 1974. At one time the community also included a church (building still stands at intersection of Highway 223 and Maxfield Creek Road), doctor's office, blacksmith shop, several schools, a livery stable, drug store, general store and several sawmills. Now, only the Kings Valley Store and the Kings Valley Charter School are open. However, Kings Valley continues to offer country living for many who work in Philomath and Corvallis.

Fort Hoskins Historic Park is nearby, in the former community of Hoskins.

The Valley and Siletz Railroad formerly ran through Kings Valley.

The Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire, originally located in Philomath, now takes place in Kings Valley every September.
