While some pools always have space for laps, or for recreational swimming, the Port Townsend Pool does not. Check the schedule before you go.
The water is a bit on the cool side.
No lockers in the changing rooms. Leave valuable stuff at home if you are worried about it getting taken.
No temperature control on the showers, but it's usually comfortable enough.
