Henry White was convicted of the death of Charley Hale in 1898 in State of Arkansas v. Henry White (1898). White was indicted on November 20, 1898. The murder was committed with a pistol. The jury found White guilty of voluntary manslaughter.

 

Henry White was captured in Vicksburg in April 1900 and brought back to the Powhatan Jail. He was hiding under the assumed name of Olive Daniels. A reward of 50 dollars was paid to Ivie.1
