Frank C. Stuart was a resident of Powhatan and merchant, who likely owned the Commercial Building. He was born September 29, 1854 and spent most of his life in Powhatan. He moved to Batesville and joined the Methodist church on July 9, 1911. 1

Family

He was the son of merchant Champ T. Stuart Sr. He entered business with his brother Champ T. Stuart Jr. He married Emma Moore and  had two sons, Senter and Frank.

Other Positions

In 1901, F.C. Stuart was named as an honorary commissioner for Lawrence County to the World's Fair.2
