BYU-approved apartments

Cougar Crib has another directory of BYU-approved housing.

Large complexes (30ish+ units): "Apartments" are centrally owned and managed, so the rent prices are the same, the furniture and "decorations" are generally the same, and usually have all or most of the utilities through them.

Academy Arms Alpine Apartments Alpine Court Apartments Applewood Arcadia Apartments Banbridge Square Bay Terrace Apartments Belmont Apartments - not to be confused with Belmont condos.. if somebody says "Belmont" they probably mean the condos Brookview Apartments Campus Villa Casa Dea Centennial II Apartments Continental Apartments Coventry Apartments Cox Apartments Crown Apartments DeVere Court Fleur-de-lis Foxwood Apartments Glenhaven Apartments Granary Halladay Apartments Heather Cove Kimball Apartments - 2 listings on that document.. one says male, other says female, etc. La Grande Apartments Lanai - not actually sure how many units are in this complex Manavu Marin Miller Apartments Monson Apartments Nelson Apartments Northwoods Apartments Old Academy Aparments - 2 listings on that document Park Place Apartments Single Tree Springtree Apartments Spyglas Summerhays Apartments The Atrium Terrace University Park

Condos: May seem like apartments, but each unit is owned by somebody else, so the rent from one condo to another may be different (though probably similar). The furniture and decorations and some things like setup of the condos will be different. Utilities may be up to the tenants.

Condo Row - A large group of several buildings with condos - West Cambridge, Middle Cambridge, etc. Close to campus, about $300 for a shared room in the Fall and Winter but you generally only share a bathroom with the one you share the room with (2 shared rooms so 4 people, 2 bathrooms) and there is usually a washer/dryer in each apartment. Parking sucks though, especially if you have people over. There is a mix of people and ages, but are all fairly social. Belmont Arlington Highland Park

BYU's off campus housing has a page for comparative data for large complexes here. It should be noted that it includes complexes that have only 6 units in it, so yeah "large" is kind of relative.
