Overview
Sac Indians settled in the East Moline area before the East Moline Land Company established sewage and drainage systems around 1900's. By 1905, East Moline was home to seven manufacturing companies, including Fuller Manufacturing Company and Deere-Clark Motor Company. The city was incorprated in 1907, and five years later Deere Harvester broke ground on what is still the Harvester Works site.
