The Downtown Living Advocates have adopted this bus shelter, located at the corner of Dawson and Morgan Streets, in front of The Dawson condo building. The bus stop exclusively serves the R-Line, the downtown Raleigh circulator.
The R9 bus stop is a popular stop for downtown residents, particularly those coming from the west end of downtown, including the Glenwood South District. The stop is located at the edge of the Warehouse District and Fayetteville Street District, where access to many shops, art galleries and restaurants are only a short walk away. The R9 stop is also convenient for those visiting the Municipal Complex just a block away. The next stop, R-10, is a full 4 blocks away so many riders prefer to get off here and walk to their final destination.
