The Chavis Way Greenway entrance is at the intersection of Chavis Way and Lenoir Street. The greenway travels south, passing alongside Chavis Park, and emerges at Cape Avenue. Straight ahead down Cape Avenue the greenway continues on the left. Then continuing on through a tunnel under Martin Luther King Blvd at Garner Road, it ends at Bragg Street. On the other side of Bragg Street, the greenway continues under the name Little Rock Trail to the Walnut Creek Wetland Center, where it connects to Walnut Creek Greenway and the rest of the greenway system.
