Karaoke is a musical form of entertainment.  Karaoke means "music without a voice" (literally "empty orchestra").  In its modern form it consists of recorded tracks without the lead vocals and the vocal is intended to be sung by a participant.  Karaoke is available in the United States generally as a free entertainment at bars and taverns.
