The N.C. State Fairgrounds is owned and operated by the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Hundreds of events are held at the fairgrounds each year, but the largest event is by far the annual North Carolina State Fair. The 11-day event draws millions of visitors each year to the fairgrounds.
