The Oakwood Modern House, also referred to as the Louis Cherry house, is a modern-style house that was being constructed in Oakwood for Louis Cherry and his wife, Marsha Gordon.  Louis Cherry is an architect and designed the building as his "dream home."

Controversy

The house construction project made national news in April of 2014.  After construction on the project began (maybe before? please add!) neighbors complained to the City and at some point construction stopped.
