For more than three decades, the Raleigh Arts Commission has helped shape the visual kaleidoscope that comprises our colorful City of Oaks, enlivening our architecture, fostering shared community interactions, celebrating our unique stories and history, attracting visitor interest, and inspiring us to experience the world with new eyes and fresh perception. Public art is a part of the City of Raleigh’s Municipal Art Collection, with more than 200 works of art on view in public spaces including parks, municipal buildings and city offices.
