Toast is a paninoteca, or Italian sandwich shop, located in the 5-points area of Durham. Run by Billy and Kelli Cotter, Toast specializes in sandwiches like panini (hot grilled sandwiches), tramezzini (cold sandwiches on crustless bread), bruschetta (grilled bread with toppings) and crostini (small toasted bread with toppings). It also offers daily homemade soups, with vegetarian options available. Toast does not deliver, but accepts take-out orders for parties of 4 or fewer. It does not accept reservations.
