I am best known as the founder of HowStuffWorks.com.
I also do a lot of public speaking, and enjoy taking complex topics and making them easy to understand. I have been fortunate to appear on shows like CNN Headline News, Modern Marvels, The Oprah Winfrey Show, etc. In 2008 and 2009, I hosted the National Geographic channel's Factory Floor With Marshall Brain, a series of one-hour factory tours taking the viewer on a journey into the world of product design, manufacturing and testing.
I am the author of more than a dozen books as well as a number of widely known web publications including How to Make a Million Dollars, Robotic Nation, Manna and Deciding to Be Better.
