The Villages of Tryon neighborhood is located in South Raleigh off Tryon Road, just east of the intersection of Tryon Road and Lake Wheeler Road.  The community is broken into two parts.  At the entrance of the neighborhood is a collection of approximately seventy detached, single family homes.  At the rear of the neighborhood is a townhouse community.

The neighbors in this community come from various backgrounds and represent many nations.  The demographics represented in this neighborhood span from college students to retirees, and from singles to families with many children.

The neighborhood is located in the 27603 zip code.

This neighborhood was developed in 2001.  While there are some long-term owners, who have lived in the community since its inception, there are new neighbors joining the community all the time.
