Midtown is a neighborhood in the heart of Reno, around South Virginia street, and roughly bounded by Liberty Street to the north, Holcomb Avenue to the East, Plumb Lane to the South and Plumas Street to the West. It was for many years Reno's run down old "main street" but it has undergone a sort of renaissance in recent years with an activated business community, new apartments and a host of hip new bars and restaurants.
